A linch pin, also called as click pin or lynch pin, is composed of a pin and locking ring. This component enables to keep the pin into place. Apart from using it as a fastener, this can also be used to secure a wheel on its axle. The pin is manually inserted and removed. When inserted crosswise through the end of the axle, it sits securely in place. No force is required to insert it as it glides easily into place. Linch pin is available in different sizes to suit different types of wheels. 9mm and 8 mm are sizes in which this pin can be purchased by customers. The linch pin can be zinc plated or color coated.
